We can't shout it loud enough... Print your photos!

One of the most common questions we received when setting up a session in today's day and age is "Do I get all my photos digitally?"

Of course we have options to own them digitally!  We understand the value to you as a client how important it is that you have a peace of mind owning your images digitally as well as having the option to printing them in the future.  For each print ordered from your session we include a web-ready social media sized image so you can share with your friends and family! We do offer digital file collections with printing rights for those who prefer to take on the responsibility of printing them by themselves.  However, should you opt out of purchasing prints, we want you seriously stop and think about this... Will you actually print your images?  Will you still have the ability to print these in the future with the quickly changing digital technologies?  Most likely you will end up sharing a few of your favorites via social media, save a few favorites on your phone and... that's it. One day in the future you will find that old flash drive in a drawer that you forgot about and realize that this media storage format is no longer easily accessible or even worse... corrupt.  Your valuable investment for these gorgeous images that you took time and good money to create will be lost forever.  This is real, folks!  We have already seen the heart break from clients years back that have lost their images in the digital abyss, leaving them saddened that they didn't take the time to get them printed on archival paper.  What will your grandchildren have to remember you by? They say that this generation is the most over-photographed generation who will have no photos in the future. It's a very true and eye-opening statement.

What is behind the value of a professional digital image?

A professionally-created digital image is far more than just a snap from a camera.  It is a permanent memory.  It has years of training, experience, creative vision, professional editing and costly equipment behind its value.  That single image holds immense value not only to the subject who will have it for the rest of their life, but to the professional who created it.  It is the validation of their hard work, talent and sacrifice.
