Looking to set up a shoot with us? We offer several different types of sessions, most of which include two highly-skilled portrait photographers!
From start to finish, we aim to make this experience as stress-free as possible! We have answers for all your questions, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us so you can better understand the process and properly prepare for your shoot.
You will set up your session by calling our studio at 480-607-1688! You may email us to start the process, but we do need to speak to you over the phone to go over all of the important information we need from you to book your session.
The session fee and a mimimum order are both paid in full at time of booking to reserve the date and time of your choice. You will receive that portion back in credit when you place your order in the studio.
All sessions include 2 photographers (except Mini sessions and Business Professional single head shots).
Turn-around time is approximately 10-14 business days. At that time, all sessions except the Mini Session will include a video presentation of all our final images set to music sent directly to your email for viewing! Mini sessions will be posted to an online gallery for viewing. We do not offer an online ordering system at this time.
Your in-studio viewing and ordering appointment will be set within the first two weeks after you see your slideshow. Your credit will be good for 60 days.
All images are custom-edited individually by one of our professional portrait artists. We narrow your images down to the "best of" and present to you the final selection of images from your session. Additional editing requests are welcomed during your ordering session and can be made with the purchase of a print.
We specialize in fine art wall prints, non-templated album design (created with love by hand), holiday cards as well as graduation announcements (also uniquely hand-designed) and much more.
THE BIG QUESTION: Do I get all my images digitally after the session? We include a social media-friendly image with logo with any print you order! Should you opt out of letting us create beautiful prints for you, you may purchase the digital image rights with print release. All digital images are discounted when added to any Collection. A la Carte - 1 digital image with print release (wall portrait ready) is 185. All digital images without a print order start at 850 (web shareable app) and go up from there, depending on which type of session you select as well. Complimentary phone apps with all images for web only are included with digital images (400 value).
5x7 and 8x10 A la Carte 75 and wall-ready portraits start at 380. Collections including a wall piece, reprints, digital images and albums start at 1400. Collections are not required, yet offer up to 25% off in savings.
Do you offer in-person consultations before the session?
Absolutely. We encourage it! It gives us a chance to really understand your style and expectations for your session. It gives you ideas for your session. It also gives you a chance to meet us, see our studio and the work we provide. We will explain our shooting process as well as the post-production work put in to every one of your images.
Understanding what we provide and what you can expect from a session with us is an invaluable part of our session process.
Why do you have two photographers on most sessions?
For nearly two decades, we have used two photographers on each shoot that work as a team to provide a higher level of service and be able to produce a more thorough variety of images for our clients. We find that a client's unique story is best told when there are two photographers working collaboratively to capture two sides of the story. While one photographer might be capturing the more formal shot with subjects looking directly at the camera, the other photographer can be capturing the more real, authentic in-between moments. Not only does this produce a lot more images than you might get with only one photographer, but quality is increased with two sets of eyes correcting small details like posing, clothing adjustments and hair fixing. We pride ourselves in providing only the best service and this is one of the best ways we can achieve the high quality work we provide to our clients.
Why do we collect a minimum order at the time of booking?
In addition to our session fee, which includes pre-consultations, the photographers time, professional editing and facial retouching, we collect a deposit that constitutes the minimum order we require to any one of our sessions. This deposit will vary based on your session choice.
This policy ensures that we are securing a session with a client that is committed to their session and plans to place an order of at least that deposit amount.
